Stetson's Marketing Dept
Have you ever wondered why some stores carry products that others don't? Or how companies determine whether a new soft drink will be successful or fizzle out? In Marketing, students gain decision-making skills that lead to success in fields ranging from retailing and market research to advertising and sales management. Stetson's small classes give students maximum interaction with their professors. Our newly renovated Lynn Business Center offers access to state-of-the-art software that helps students grasp current marketing concepts and prepare for inevitable changes.

Stetson's Marketing program includes real-world experiences both in and outside the classroom. Professors stress hands-on learning and students work on projects with practical applications, including marketing research for actual business clients in the DeLand, Daytona Beach, and northern Orlando areas. Students try their hand at designing new products and writing advertising and promotions plans. In other words, we tackle real-world problems and current industry challenges. And most students choose to do an internship, where they get to hone skills, gain valuable job experience, and build contacts even before graduation.
